SF Giants – In China

SF Giants - World Series

I was in Dalian, China on a business trip last fall.  The Giants were in the Play-Offs / World Series.  I had an MLB.com account and watched as much baseball overseas as I could.  Which typically meant I was up really early before heading out to work.  So while a game was going on tuesday evening, it was wednesday morning for me.

At any rate, the hotel I was at (which was amazing) had yet to block external input to their TV’s, so I hooked up my HDMI cable and watched the SF Giants play their way live to the World Series.

I caught the 1st game of the World Series at the airport in Dalian on my phone as I was waiting for my flight to Beijing.  I had free wifi at the coffee shop at the airport.  I was watching Zito pitching and a few New Yorkers were huddle behind me at the Cafe’ cheering on the Giants.

Nothing like traveling and having something to bind the Americans.  It’s fun when random events like that happen.
